Description:
Metal food cans/tins. One of three pieces of round metal (food?) container/s. The two larger fragments are from bases or lids and have round stamps in the middle, but they are of different design : 1) A larger fragment with a single embossed edge on the circle. The diameter of base is 7.8 cm x 1.8cm, and the diameter of the circular stamp including the embossed edge is 5 cm. 2) A base/lid fragment with a sharper edge around the circle, diameter including the edge is 4.0 cm. This piece also has some of the sides attached. Width is 6.2cm. 3) The third fragment is small and of indistinct shape, 2.7 x 1.4cm. Photo is a grab from 2011 Notebook pdf.
