Description:
Metal food can fragment. Base of a bully beef tin. Ferrous oxidation. Found on an exposed, eroded steep ridge that was a front line ANZAC position. Part of a large scatter of artefacts in an open, eroded area with low vegetation asssociated with trench F459 at the southern end of Pope's Hill. Documented via an intensive survey method.
