Description:
Trenches. A series of interconnecting trenches, fairly shallow, and undulating with rises and dips. One section of trench is long (65m) extending to SW along the ridge. Dimensions (taken at the point of the photo) are 230cm wide at the top, 140cm wide at the bottom, and 70cm deep. There are sections that are indistinct. Dense vegetation characterised by pine and holly predominately but with thickets of rhododendron along some trenches. The trenches are covered with a thick layer of pine needles and leaf litter. The trench peters out to the northwest. One branch ends in a lookout position looking to the west. Intersects with trench F606. Continues as trench F615. Different segments of trench documented: 65m, 12m, 3m, 19m, 13m and 6m long.
