Description:
Large metal container. 8 Fragments. ferrous oxidation. Metal fragments found together in a slight depression covered with low scrubby bushes not far from the main sealed road. Fragment 1: White oxidation at weld lines. Folded over on itself. Two machined edges evident at top and bottom (folded over). Welding lip evident on side. Pressed ridge 1/4 distance from top/bottom. Dimensions: 53.0 x 16.0 x 0.7cm thick. Fragment 2: Folded over on itself. Evidence of weld on lip. Dimensions: 11.8 x 4.7 x 0.5cm thick (at the fold). Fragment 3: Folded over on itself. Evidence of weld on lip. 6.5 x 4.0 x 0.6cm. Fragment 4: A twisted fragment, 4.9 x 2.6 x 1.1cm. Fragment 5: Irregular, flat, and fragile, 5.2 x 3.7cm. Fragment 6: Very small fragment, 2.3 x 1.9cm. Fragment 7: Very small fragment, 1.9 x 1.4cm. Fragment 8: Very small fragment, 1.5 x 1.0cm.
