Description:
Metal fragments x 4, ferrous oxidation. Fragments of a metal container. Fragment 1: Large fragment, very fragile with a rim; 18.8 x 17.4 x 0.3cm high rim. Fragment 2: Folded metal sheet; 17.8 x 12.0 x 2.3cm thick. Fragment 3: No distinguishing characteristics; 7.1 x 5.7cm. Fragment 4: No distinguishing characteristics; 4.6 x 3.2cm. Part of a scatter of surface finds (F657) on modern dirt track/road from Lone Pine cemetery down to the well F656. Found in Segment 5 of the road.
