Description:
Metal discs x 2, domed with ferrous oxidation. One is quite corroded. Shell components. shell component in 2 pieces. Both discs were found together in a cutting associated with the reconstruction of the New Zealand Track (or a possible tunnel entrance). Disc 1: (does not have a circular hole in the centre) 6.4cm diameter x 0.8cm thick and a 1.1cm diameter internal circular impression. Disc 2: has a 1.1cm diameter circular hole in the centre, 6.5cm diameter x 0.2cm thick.
