Description:
Trench. Overgrown and not well-defined in many places. The trench is wide with sloping sides and a flat floor. Vegetation is thick holly, other trees and bushes. Located close to the modern road and not far from the beach. This small section of trench is in an area of trenches and living areas, near the road verge. There are indications of other dugouts around this trench but they are not well-defined and are overgrown. The trench continues to the south but is narrow, eroded with low sides and thickly overgrown. There are some large field stones in the trench. There is modern rubbish in the trench.
