Description:
Trench located on the beach (western) side of the modern coastal road, A wide, shallow trench with a flattish floor covered with many leaves, branches and twigs. The walls of the trench are steeo and have been undercut by water action. It is very well defined in some sections where there is thick holly vegetation growing. The trench winds around at the southern end. There are several junctions to the right (east) and left (west). It possibly joins with F987 to the south. In the northern section it ends in a eroded watercourse. Dimensions 1: Width 460cm top; 270cm wide base; 125cm deep. Dimensions 2: Width 190cm top; 110cm wide base; 120cm deep.
