Description:
Trench. Shallow with low sloping sides. Eroded and infilled with sediment. Thickly overgrown with holly, oak and rhododendron trees. There is leaf litter covering parts of the trench. Located at the top of Plugge's Plateau on the NW side, curves around the edge of a steep escarpment to the NE. It is interrupted by the modern viewing platform. Another trench (or the same one) continues to the east past the viewing platform. The trench is eroded out of the cliff/escarpment. The whole area near this trench is full of the remains of trenches and positions.
