Description:
Trench. Runs south from the junction with trenches F1019 and F1021. Not as well preserved. More eroded and washed out - acts as a watercourse. There are some better preserved sections. Heads downhill to the SE, and there is a junction with an eroded and poorly defined trench to the west. The soil is silty and quite pebbly and stoney in places here, lower down on the SE side of the plateau. The trench curves around a lot and there is another, smaller, off-shoot trench to the east, heading out to the edge of the plateau (not recorded). Several artefacts found here (A1157 and A1158).
