Description:
Trench. A communication trench line running along east-west the north side of of the Indian Mountain Battery artillery positions (F1035, F1036, F1038) connecting them. Western end of the trench has been destroyed by the modern access path. Trench is narrow, overgrown and eroded in places. There are large tumbles of rocks in the trench. The southern side of the trench near F1036 is built of drystone walling. There is a junction to another position on the south side of the trench (unrecorded).
