Description:
Shell fuse (shell component), a timed fuse. Conical shape with the nose broken and a thick band of screw threads at the base. The base is distorted, with three splits in what would have been circular base - the width of the narrowest split was 3.4cm. There are eight recesses in the screw thread at base. Pale green oxidation. Located on eroded ground below Sapka Tepe. Conical top dimensions: 1.2cm internal diameter; 3.2cm external diameter. Additional dimensions: length of the screw thread section 2.2cm; length of the conical end 1.4cm.
