Eroded. Shallow. Narrow. Depth varies. Steeper and more distinct in places. Vegetation - spiky bushes. Winds around to north-east and north before heading east. Trench ends north of where it began in an open marshy area/tidal marsh (presently dry) fully of branches and other vegetation. The trench is deep, well-defined and well-preserved in the 1000cm that precede the marsh. Here the trench is deep, has a flat floor and sloping sides. Leaf litter covers the base. Preservation is excellent here. Connects with trench (F867). Measurements - Width 1: top; Depth 1: deepest; Width 2: bottom; Depth 2: shallowest. Additional measurements taken at well-preserved end - w. 320 (top); w. 170 (bottom); d. 120.
