Description:
Metal disc, circular. Screw thread visible around exterior. Raised rivet on top of disc indicates that there was once a handle or attachment that has now corroded away. Linear groove apparent across base of disc. Ferrous corrosion of the rivet and top surface of the disc; green oxidation of the disc (copper alloy). Central component of disc more corroded than other parts. Dimensions: the disc is 3.7cm diameter x 0.4cm thick (excluding the rivet); 0.9cm thick overall (including the rivet).
